About us

Helping Australians find relief from the ringing

What we believe

Tinnitus is treatable, and dismissal is the real problem

Almost every person who walks through our door has been told there is nothing to be done. That advice is not malicious, it is just out of date, and it costs people years.

There is no cure. We say that plainly and we say it first. But habituation is well evidenced, structured programs work for most people who complete them, and there is an enormous difference between tinnitus you can hear and tinnitus that runs your life.

Our job is to move people from the second to the first, and then to stay with them long enough for it to hold.

Specialist tinnitus care, Australian owned and operated

How we work

  • Assessment before recommendation, every time
  • Validated severity scoring at intake and every review
  • Multidisciplinary care rather than referral ping pong
  • Programs measured in months, not appointments
  • Telehealth so location does not decide who gets treated
  • Written costs before you commit to anything

Who we treat

Anyone whose life is being affected by tinnitus

Tinnitus does not check your background before it starts.

Tradespeople, makers, musicians and shift workers

The general population

Musicians, tradespeople, teachers, shift workers, people who went to a lot of gigs in their twenties, people who cannot point to a cause at all. Most of the Australians we treat have never worn a uniform.

You do not need a referral and you do not need a diagnosis to start. You need one appointment.

Veterans living with service related tinnitus

Veterans and DVA clients

Tinnitus is one of the most commonly accepted service related conditions, and we have deep experience supporting the veteran community, including handling DVA approvals and funding so the process does not fall on the patient.

The clinical program is the same one everyone else receives. The paperwork is the part we take off your hands.

Our mission

Make tinnitus support simple, human and accessible

Our mission is to provide unwavering support and effective care for Australians living with tinnitus and hearing challenges. Through evidence based programs, individual assessment and strategic partnerships, we help people reclaim their quality of life.

We have deep experience supporting veterans and we handle the DVA pathway end to end, but the clinical program is the same one everyone receives. Most of the people we treat have never worn a uniform.

Our vision

The most trusted tinnitus service in the country

To be the leading and most trusted provider of accessible, client centred tinnitus and hearing services, using proven clinical approaches to inspire, educate and empower every patient with personalised care.

Our purpose is to improve lives through a supportive, respectful and compassionate environment.

What we stand for

Six values, and we are held to them

These are not wall decorations. They are what we hire against, what we review against, and what patients should hold us to.

Integrity and trust

Leading with honesty and reliability. If a treatment is not right for you, we will say so, and we will tell you what is.

Patient centred care

Personalised, gold standard care built around your hearing, your history and how tinnitus is actually affecting you.

Innovation through creativity

Embracing forward thinking solutions, from Telehealth delivery to the newest evidence based devices.

Empowerment through collaboration

Working alongside GPs, ENT specialists, mental health social workers and pain specialists rather than in isolation.

Excellence

The highest standards of care and service, measured with validated questionnaires rather than assumed.

Resilience and growth

Treating challenges as opportunities to improve, for our patients and for the way we work.

Inside the team

Our national conference

Every year the whole team comes together: audiologists, social workers, health coordinators and administration, from the Sunshine Coast and Adelaide. Clinical training, case discussion, and the chance to put faces to the names.

Where we are

Queensland based, Australia wide

Our Sunshine Coast centre at 177 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba opened in 2026, bringing specialist tinnitus care to the coast rather than asking people to travel for it. Telehealth extends assessment, counselling and the full Neuromonics program to patients anywhere in the country.

About us

Questions people ask about TRA

Where do you see patients?

In person at our Sunshine Coast centre at 177 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba and our Adelaide Specialist Hubs at 1a 185-191 Bains Road, Morphett Vale, plus Telehealth Australia wide for assessment, counselling and the full Neuromonics program.

Are you owned by a hearing aid manufacturer?

No. We are Australian owned and operated and independent of any device manufacturer, which is why our recommendation follows the assessment rather than a product range.

Do you only treat veterans?

No. Most of the Australians we treat have never worn a uniform. We do have deep experience with the veteran community and manage the DVA pathway, but the clinical program is the same one everyone receives.

How are your outcome figures measured?

With the Tinnitus Functional Index, the standard instrument for assessing tinnitus severity and impact, scored at intake and at each review. The figures we publish are the measured averages across patients who completed a program.

Who will I actually see?

A tinnitus trained audiologist for assessment and clinical care, supported by a health coordinator who manages the practical side, and where relevant our social workers and Cognitive Behavioural therapists.
