Real stories

Told to just live with it

Almost everyone we treat was told there was nothing to be done. These are people who did something anyway. Names are first names only, and every one of these is from someone who completed a program with us.

George’s story

Twenty years of service left George with a sound he could not switch off. He was told there was nothing to be done. He tells the rest himself.

Filmed at our clinic, shared with his permission, and the reason a lot of people pick up the phone.

It stole my sleep, my peace of mind, and I was told there was nothing I could do. The program gave me the tools to take back control. Now it doesn't run my day anymore.
George
I was skeptical at first. But your mind begins to transcend the tinnitus, training itself not to hear it anymore. Now I can see right through it.
Diane
Surpassing. I wouldn't have thought it possible for it to improve as quickly as it has.
Alan
It worked really good. If you follow the program and trust in the process, it works.
Ashley
To put it bluntly, this program is a godsend. Outstanding improvement to my tinnitus, my life, and my family. Get on board. Get your life back.
Alan
After Neuromonics, my flare ups went from constant to a few times a week. I used to debate whether to watch movies with family or attend events. Now I don't have to. Get some of your freedom back.
Ryan
The program has given me confidence and the ability to manage my tinnitus.
Robert
Tinnitus was affecting everything. Driving, focus, mood, anxiety. Six months changed that. I learned to control my thoughts instead of reacting to sound. Now I can drive without fear, my mood is stable, and my anxiety stays down. I had the power to control tinnitus or let it control me. I chose control.
Brian
I was skeptical this was just another tick in the box. Nine sessions later I was shocked. My tinnitus improved by a lot. I mean, a lot. You saved my life enjoyment.
David
I thoroughly recommend the program to anyone dealing with this. They have helped me immensely, from start to finish. The positive impact on my tinnitus and on my personal, professional and family life has been absolutely outstanding.

A note on these

Why we publish first names only

Tinnitus is personal, and plenty of our patients would rather not have their full name attached to how badly they were sleeping two years ago. Everyone quoted here gave permission for their words to be used. Individual experiences differ and these stories are not a prediction of your result.

About these stories

Questions about our testimonials

Are these real patients?

Yes. Every quote is from someone who completed a program with us and gave permission for their words to be used. We publish first names only, because tinnitus is personal and not everyone wants their full name attached to how badly they were sleeping two years ago.

Do you pay for testimonials?

No. Nobody quoted here was paid or given a discount in exchange for their words.

Will I get the same result?

Individual experiences differ and nothing here is a prediction of your outcome. What we can tell you is what the published evidence shows for the treatments we deliver. Tinnitus Retraining Therapy has reported success rates between 75 and 85 per cent, and Neuromonics reports an 83 per cent success rate across 14 clinical trials.

Can I speak to a past patient?

Some of our patients are happy to talk to people considering a program. Ask us and we will see who is available. We never share anyone's details without their permission.
